Around 2008 I was invited to shoot for a new start-up company called MOOFE. The brief was to shoot hi resolution backgrounds or back-plates shot on a Hasselblad-h2, along with HDR images shot on a spheron camera. The images were to form part of an ever growing library of hi end packages for CGI car campaignes amongst other uses.
To this end each hi res background or backplate cantained a metre square reference cube. Can you spot the cube in each image? Working in teams of two we travelled to USA, Australia, NZ, Europe and the UK, over a two year period.
Here are a few out-takes from those shoots, the real joy of which, was the opportunity to spend weeks on end finding locations and photographing in the landscape.
